Fairfield Bins Rental Terms & Conditions
By placing an order, the renter agrees to these terms.
Rental period
Each rental is for 14 days beginning on the confirmed delivery date. Extensions require advance approval and may incur additional charges.
Delivery and pickup
The customer selects the date the bins are needed by. Fairfield Bins will deliver on or before that date and coordinate the delivery window. Fairfield delivery and pickup are included. One outside-Fairfield leg may be selected for Westport (+$20), Norwalk (+$30), or Darien (+$40); the order must identify whether delivery or pickup is the outside leg. The customer must provide accurate addresses, safe legal access, and an authorized contact. Missed access or unavailable pickup may result in additional charges.
Security deposit
A refundable security deposit is collected with each rental: $100 for 20 bins and $200 for 40 bins. The deposit is returned after all bins and dollies are returned on time and in acceptable condition, less any authorized deductions for missing, damaged, excessively dirty, or late-returned equipment and related costs.
Care, damage, and loss
The renter is responsible for the bins and dolly while in their possession. Do not overload, alter, misuse, leave unsecured, or place hazardous, illegal, corrosive, flammable, wet, or leaking materials in the bins. Charges for loss or damage exceeding the deposit remain the renter’s responsibility.
Weather and use
Reusable plastic bins resist ordinary rain and moisture better than cardboard, but they are not waterproof storage containers. Customers must use reasonable care and protect contents from weather, flooding, theft, and other hazards. Fairfield Bins is not responsible for packed contents or consequential loss.
Cancellation and changes
Schedule changes and cancellations should be requested as early as possible. Availability is not guaranteed. Any applicable refund or rescheduling decision will account for work already performed, reserved inventory, and delivery costs.
Business and office moves
Business renters are responsible for ensuring that employees, movers, building management, loading docks, elevators, parking, and access windows are properly coordinated.
Acceptance
Checking the required acceptance box and completing payment confirms that the renter has read, understood, and agreed to these terms. Contact Fairfield Bins before ordering if any term or service detail is unclear.
